Pawn's Gambit

Pawn’s Gambit is a short-form 2D puzzle adventure set on a chessboard. What begins as a classic game of chess quickly breaks apart: the pieces disappear, the rules no longer apply. 

The player becomes the only remaining pawn, navigating a board where missing pieces such as queen, king, bishop, knight and rook spawn, each representing a unique challenge. By solving the puzzles, the player gradually restores the board and reconstructs the game of chess itself.
